Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romo Viqueira in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Désiré Verdy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nueva Adalucia's Loren Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adil Barbey in the 33rd minute of play. Nueva Adalucia's Unax Domenech got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Cyber Attack's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Aranzubia came free, but Désiré Verdy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyber Attack were furious when Joaquim Pinon was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cyber Attack! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Nueva Adalucia. Roberto Marrero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Désiré Verdy. 0-3. In the 46th minute Romo Viqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Désiré Verdy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Romo Viqueira made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Sacristán kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Romo Viqueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Désiré Verdy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Aranzubia in the 72nd minute of play forced Cyber Attack's goalkeeper Désiré Verdy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Désiré Verdy was a little too slow when Romo Viqueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-4. Nuno Aranzubia took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Désiré Verdy. Désiré Verdy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Désiré Verdy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unax Domenech in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Roberto Marrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Pécourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Nueva Adalucia's Romo Viqueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Désiré Verdy. Désiré Verdy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The supporters of Nueva Adalucia booed when Cyber Attack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Decaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nueva Adalucia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
