Marciano Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Mandrak in the 18th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pucho's zone, Edinho Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Blanco came out of the goal and Edinho Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
