Ilias Papanikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 7th minute of play. Ąžuolas Dališanskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ilias Papanikolas made a huge save. After 12 played minutes, Lithuanian amber's Vėjas Radzinevičius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilias Papanikolas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lithuanian amber reached it. Ilias Papanikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Vyšniauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Ilias Papanikolas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rapolas Norkūnas. Eligijus Kavaliūnas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Trifillia.FC's Stamatis Paschalis. But to his dismay, Stamatis Paschalis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Trifillia.FC were furious when Dimos Violopoulos was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, one of Trifillia.FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trifillia.FC. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Lithuanian amber. Marius Vyšniauskas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilias Papanikolas. 1-1. When Motiejus Drevinskas came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lithuanian amber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Motiejus Drevinskas couldn't finish the play. Ilias Papanikolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 34th minute. Lithuanian amber's Eligijus Kavaliūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Vaxevanakis in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ąžuolas Dališanskis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilias Papanikolas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ignas Janilionis's late challenge caught a Trifillia.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignas Janilionis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignas Janilionis to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Makis Chiotis got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Eligijus Kavaliūnas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipis Vaxevanakis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ąžuolas Dališanskis in the 55th minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Ilias Papanikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilias Papanikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Vyšniauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Lithuanian amber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Motiejus Drevinskas to maneuver through the defense. Eligijus Kavaliūnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Vaxevanakis in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes, Almantas Daktaras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lithuanian amber and the Trifillia.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almantas Daktaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eligijus Kavaliūnas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kostas Katsoulakis. Ilias Papanikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Vyšniauskas in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Trifillia.FC defense, Rapolas Norkūnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilias Papanikolas. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilias Papanikolas should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Pipis Vaxevanakis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 74 minutes into the game, Rapolas Norkūnas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ilias Papanikolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pipis Vaxevanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilias Papanikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ąžuolas Dališanskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lithuanian amber were furious when Kęstutis Jakubauskas was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 91 minutes into the game, one of Lithuanian amber:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Trifillia.FC's Kostas Katsoulakis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eligijus Kavaliūnas. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lithuanian amber fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trifillia.FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
