Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Giannis Papakostopoulos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Giannis Papakostopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KKS Legia Deptaka's Miroslaw Bronkala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KKS Legia Deptaka's Miroslaw Bronkala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save KKS Legia Deptaka from getting a goal against them. Giannis Papakostopoulos had several of the KKS Legia Deptaka's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Miroslaw Bronkala as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 12th minute Zenon Jaroch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Pagarliotas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spyros Psychountakis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Soulis Xanthakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Bronkala having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Kolitsis to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tymoteusz Harasimowicz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaggelis Pagarliotas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaggelis Pagarliotas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zenon Jaroch went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Go Ahead Eagles's Giannis Papakostopoulos in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KKS Legia Deptaka's goalie prevented a goal. Giannis Papakostopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Miroslaw Bronkala made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, KKS Legia Deptaka's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Papakostopoulos came free, but Miroslaw Bronkala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Harasimowicz in the 52nd minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Vaggelis Pagarliotas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Jaroch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vaggelis Pagarliotas made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chatziioannou Kakratsas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miroslaw Bronkala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Papakostopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KKS Legia Deptaka's Boruc Pyczkowski got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Chatziioannou Kakratsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the game, Iwo Korytkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KKS Legia Deptaka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Go Ahead Eagles the free kick. After 70 played minutes KKS Legia Deptaka got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Korytkowski. 72 minutes into the match, KKS Legia Deptaka's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Papakostopoulos came free, but Miroslaw Bronkala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Boruc Pyczkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KKS Legia Deptaka and the Go Ahead Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 75 minutes, Giannis Papakostopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Papakostopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Papakostopoulos scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miroslaw Bronkala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Periklis Vougiouklis. In the 88th match minute, KKS Legia Deptaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Pyczkowski to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the KKS Legia Deptaka defense, Miltos Theriaklis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miroslaw Bronkala. The KKS Legia Deptaka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miroslaw Bronkala should have stopped the shot. Miroslaw Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Papakostopoulos in the 94th minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KKS Legia Deptaka for a fine match.
