Vélez Juniors's Constantino Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Serafo to maneuver through the defense. If Damaso Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes of play, Vélez Juniors's Fidel Pietro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valério Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernandão Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Manny having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Pietro. Jardel Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Manny having to interfere. Valério Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Playo in the 44th minute of the match. The Agroboys SM - CIMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vélez Juniors were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jardel Correia was the one to do the kick off. If Fidel Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Constantino Manny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Machado in the 87th minute of the match. If Fernandão Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
