The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Burak Gülerce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Saturnin in the 21st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Samet Batıkan put in a rough tackle. After 25 played minutes GEOMATİC FK got a freekick which was hit by Samet Batıkan. Burak Gülerce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Elequemedo in the 32nd minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Everardo Cordeara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Burak Gülerce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka reached it. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Hipolito Rami got a free kick in the 64th minute.
