The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Zeledon Guillem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Quintun in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Masters United F.C.'s zone, Clodoveo Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Guillem came out of the goal and Clodoveo Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Chayo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Astor Beat sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Zeledon Guillem threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Astor Beat this time. In the 17th match minute, Masters United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Ramond to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gabriel Alcántara hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Masters United F.C.'s Modesto Ranolfo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Astor Beat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zeledon Guillem but with some difficulty. When Joaquin Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Ricart couldn't finish the play. Segundo Chayo's late challenge caught a Aerolineas Argentinas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Chayo helped the player get up and apologised. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Astor Beat couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Masters United F.C.. After 37th play minutes Joaquin Ricart shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Zeledon Guillem and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Masters United F.C.'s zone, Joaquin Ricart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Guillem came out of the goal and Joaquin Ricart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Masters United F.C.'s Zeledon Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Masters United F.C. from getting a goal against them. Tomas Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Ranolfo in the 46th minute of play. Gabriel Alcántara's late challenge caught a Masters United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Alcántara helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Aerolineas Argentinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Alcántara. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Ricart was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Enzo Dominguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Inocente hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Narciso Raitin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Narciso Raitin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aerolineas Argentinas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Narciso Raitin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 59th minute, one of Aerolineas Argentinas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aerolineas Argentinas FC. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Masters United F.C.'s Felix Ramond got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomas Etxahun. In the 68th minute, Gabriel Alcántara made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Guillem. Masters United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Tomas Etxahun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Ranolfo in the 88th minute.
