Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Hermosillo FC's Ivan Toli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Victorio Dino fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermosillo FC's protests and gave Victorio Dino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Dino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Adan Steven shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvano Benat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LiBeRiA F.C. reached it. Hernan Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Silvano Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Ivan Toli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hernan Silbestre. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Victorio Dino got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hermosillo FC's zone, Mauro Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Benat came out of the goal and Mauro Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Benat came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by LiBeRiA F.C.'s Cornelio Constancio. But to his dismay, Cornelio Constancio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Abajas in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Constancio came free, but Silvano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Constancio. If Dionisio Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Abajas took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Benat. Silvano Benat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 44 played minutes LiBeRiA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Porfiro. After 45 played minutes, Hermosillo FC's Angelo Constancio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Silbestre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hermosillo FC reached it. Hernan Silbestre was out of position in the 49 minute of play, and Dionisio Jokin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dionisio Jokin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cornelio Constancio made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Evelio Jusepe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 63rd match minute, LiBeRiA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Constancio in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvano Benat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 68 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's Dionisio Jokin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Silbestre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Toli in the 71st minute of play forced LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Hernan Silbestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cecilio Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Silvano Benat acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cesar Opilano. Victorio Dino was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 88th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Dino to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Benat didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. The Hermosillo FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing LiBeRiA F.C. to win.
