The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Larbi Deghmani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Jusepe in the 5th minute of the match. Gervasio Cordarell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Larbi Deghmani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gervasio Cordarell had several of the Salmiyah Power's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Larbi Deghmani as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 16th match minute, Salmiyah Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Horr to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabah Messaoudi charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rabah Messaoudi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Messaoudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, LiBeRiA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Steven to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nouara Djahnine came free, but Rodrigo Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salmiyah Power's Larbi Deghmani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Cordarell in the 36th minute of play. Abdelhamid Menguellet hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Salmiyah Power getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Halim Djamel hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Fermin Porfiro tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 48 minutes, Mauro Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LiBeRiA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Cordarell was the one to do the kick off. Mauro Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larbi Deghmani having to interfere. Gervasio Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Evelio Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Abdelhamid Menguellet took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rodrigo Amato to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute of the match Fermin Porfiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Larbi Deghmani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Gervasio Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larbi Deghmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Steven charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 89th minute, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Prospero Musko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Prospero Musko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LiBeRiA F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Prospero Musko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Prospero Musko hit a great ball. Mohamed Abdi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Larbi Deghmani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
