The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niels Rensenbrink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Alonso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AC Pitt Bier's Bram Smits shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 11 played minutes Rebelution got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Janpier. After a defensive mix-up in Rebelution's zone, Bram Smits stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Alonso came out of the goal and Bram Smits tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Bram Smits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Pitt Bier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tim Hartogh hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rebelution's Lázaro Xabat got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bram Smits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, AC Pitt Bier's Marco Hak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipe Alonso. Felipe Alonso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of AC Pitt Bier:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rebelution:s goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Niels Rensenbrink, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bram Smits in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bram Smits made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Smits in the 50th minute of play forced Rebelution's goalkeeper Felipe Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Janpier hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Felipe Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien van Putten, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Rebelution getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Honorio Louis hit a great ball. Niels Rensenbrink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Feo in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Rogaars in the 63rd minute of play forced Rebelution's goalkeeper Felipe Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Rogaars in the 64th minute of play. Damien van Putten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Alonso having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Damien van Putten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes AC Pitt Bier got a freekick which was hit by Albert Neijsen. Niels Rensenbrink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 90 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goal looked a bit too open when German Tabor came free, but Niels Rensenbrink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Johannes Rogaars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Felipe Alonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Smits, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rebelution players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Pitt Bier.
