An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Abendano in the 87th minute of play forced Algarrobo's goalkeeper Enmanuel Kowalesko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Mandarina Mecánica had won after a very even match.
