Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) Champions Iasi's Leontin Hâldan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jaanek Lasn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Leontin Hâldan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernst Kanne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Kalju Õun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Iosif in the 15th minute of play forced FS Kilomani's goalkeeper Ernst Kanne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalju Õun scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidiu Bojin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leontin Hâldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th match minute, FS Kilomani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimar Martsepp to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FS Kilomani's zone, Aurelian Iosif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernst Kanne came out of the goal and Aurelian Iosif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes of play, FS Kilomani's Villu Aulik made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidiu Bojin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Edgar Drumeș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Villu Aulik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Bojin. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Bojin should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kalju Õun was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalju Õun in the 52nd minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Aimar Martsepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Bojin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match FS Kilomani got a corner. Champions Iasi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lennart Õlg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lennart Õlg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Bojin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 57th minute, Adrian Miniș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edgar Drumeș fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Champions Iasi's protests and gave Edgar Drumeș a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edgar Drumeș hit a great ball. A collision led to FS Kilomani getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Villu Aulik hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Hâldan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute of the match Lennart Õlg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Bojin skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaanek Lasn got free with Ovidiu Bojin in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Martsepp came free, but Ovidiu Bojin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FS Kilomani's Kalju Õun got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Edgar Drumeș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, FS Kilomani's Lennart Õlg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FS Kilomani reached it. Ovidiu Bojin was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Aimar Martsepp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aimar Martsepp really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FS Kilomani walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
