Spectators: 7682 (Terracing: 5762, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cezar Drâmbă kicked off to start the match. Manuel Ignătescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Hâldan in the 3rd minute. Ovidiu Bojin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Bot in the 4th minute of play. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Stoicescu in the 5th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Traian Stoicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidiu Bojin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Bot in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Traian Stoicescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Vulcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ovidiu Bojin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Bot in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Bojin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidiu Bojin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Stoicescu in the 21st minute of the match. Ovidiu Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Stoicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Traian Stoicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Bojin was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After the first half The Huns were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leontin Hâldan to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Robert Bot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Huns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Bot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Bot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Bojin made a huge save. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Perșa in the 69th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Constantiniu. In the 75th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Jumancă to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Champions Iasi's zone, Robert Bot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Bojin came out of the goal and Robert Bot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Bot in the 80th minute of play. Robert Bot charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Bot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Pompiliu Constantiniu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Năsturel came free, but Manuel Ignătescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Constantiniu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pompiliu Constantiniu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pompiliu Constantiniu hit a great ball. The The Huns supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Huns would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
