Hawk Tuah FC's Nils Bogren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Hawk Tuah FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Craft in the 9th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Nils Bogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hawk Tuah FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after American Airlines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Göran Eskilsson took the corner. After a rather tough play, American Airlines's Phil Craft got a free kick in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Colby Sherwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Bogren. Hawk Tuah FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Colby Sherwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nils Bogren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colby Sherwood in the 28th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Hawk Tuah FC's Stig Lööf made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tod Werner was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 38 in the game by Colby Sherwood from a close distance when the talented Nils Bogren managed to make a qualified save. Hawk Tuah FC's players were relieved. 40 minutes into the game, Zack McIntosh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. American Airlines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hawk Tuah FC the free kick. After 40 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Zack McIntosh. American Airlines's Tod Werner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Mikaelsson in the 41st minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Hawk Tuah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Ström to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Mikaelsson to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Craft in the 54th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Nils Bogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Bogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlin Noble in the 65th minute of play. Leif Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Colby Sherwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Bogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phil Craft took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Bogren. Nils Bogren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Emanuel Ekman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Colby Sherwood came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the American Airlines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colby Sherwood couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Lawrence's late challenge caught a Hawk Tuah FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, American Airlines's Aurelio Lawrence got a free kick in the 80th minute. Evert Mikaelsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Tod Werner 81 minutes into the match. Tod Werner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Hellbom's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Evert Mikaelsson got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. American Airlines had won after a very even match.
