Spectators: 7779 (Terracing: 5835, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Humberto Eliu got the match started through his kick off. Pablo Acevedo came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Madison's Cristian Remicio. But to his dismay, Cristian Remicio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Adan Hustaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Iban, 1-1. Jacobo Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Lop in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Potrero's zone, Aristides Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Acevedo came out of the goal and Aristides Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Iban came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Baldomiro Lop. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Lop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 42 minutes, Omar Fagondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Potrero and the Madison players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Madison booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alejo Nerio hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adan Hustaz was the one to do the kick off. Saul Salvidor hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Bernardo Maule took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Iban. Madison's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Gaudencio Rico got a free kick in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Madison's Pablo Acevedo threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Remicio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Eliu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pablo Acevedo. That made the score 2-2 in the 61 minute of play. Isidoro Birjaio charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Birjaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidoro Birjaio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Feliu came free, but Pablo Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Potrero's Pablo Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Humberto Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Eliu in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Acevedo saved C. A. Potrero from getting behind. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Baldomiro Lop got a free kick in the 80th minute. Pablo Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Eliu in the 87th minute of play.
