Bogdan Goma charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogdan Goma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Λstral Villains FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Ballestad to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Goma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Do in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Traian Sucigan saved Alexandria Team08 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Do in the 14th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Traian Sucigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Λstral Villains FC's Martin Do nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Traian Sucigan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Simon Zetterberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Vintilă Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Alexandria Team08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Bâru couldn't finish the play. Peter Lekven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Traian Sucigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Johan Nyhagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Bâru in the 28th minute of play. Traian Sucigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Do in the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Ballestad during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Λstral Villains FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Christian Ballestad hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Λstral Villains FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Vintilă Bâru struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nils-Johan Nyhagen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Traian Sucigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Do, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Do to make the kick off. If Vetle Gleditsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Corbea kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Simon Zetterberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Christian Ballestad came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Traian Sucigan could save by the left post. After 61 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Vrejiu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Lekven got free with Traian Sucigan in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Λstral Villains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Λstral Villains FC's Vetle Gleditsch got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Alexandria Team08's Traian Sucigan got control of the ball when Christian Ballestad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niculae Corvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Traian Dăianu hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Karl Helmersen rounded Alexandria Team08's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 94th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Butnaru to maneuver through the defense. Alexandria Team08's Traian Sucigan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandria Team08 from getting a goal against them.
