Teodosio Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ismael Batista hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riesgo Cero were furious when Alejandro Micael was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 54th minute, the referee gave Defensores de Fasano a penalty. Remigio Tabby looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Marcos Charro. Alberto Joanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Marcos Charro made a huge save. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Marcos Charro got control of the ball when Alberto Joanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remigio Tabby struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Marcos Charro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Fasano. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Lia couldn't finish the play. Defensores de Fasano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
