The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Juventus PTM got a corner. City Friseur Wuppertal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Calistrat Trifu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juventus PTM's Calistrat Trifu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Battal Cüneyt İhtişam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. City Friseur Wuppertal's Battal Cüneyt İhtişam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Trifu in the 7th minute of play. When Juventus PTM's Calistrat Trifu in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Basarab Patriciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Öztek in the 18th minute of play. Battal Cüneyt İhtişam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Trifu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Batuhan Sönmezalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus PTM's Mugur Silişteanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Battal Cüneyt İhtişam. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Ömer Turgut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Basarab Patriciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Ömer Turgut got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calistrat Trifu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Battal Cüneyt İhtişam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ahmet Çelik fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored City Friseur Wuppertal's protests and gave Ahmet Çelik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, City Friseur Wuppertal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Çelik to maneuver through the defense. Calistrat Trifu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Battal Cüneyt İhtişam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus PTM. Battal Cüneyt İhtişam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Trifu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tuna Selim fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored City Friseur Wuppertal's protests and gave Tuna Selim a yellow card for diving instead. Tuna Selim hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With his leg Battal Cüneyt İhtişam managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Juventus PTM's Gheorghe Brezeanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The Juventus PTM fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Juventus PTM's Calistrat Trifu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mugur Silişteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Battal Cüneyt İhtişam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leontin Iorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in City Friseur Wuppertal's zone, Gheorghe Brezeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Battal Cüneyt İhtişam came out of the goal and Gheorghe Brezeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the City Friseur Wuppertal defense, Gheorghe Brezeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Battal Cüneyt İhtişam. The City Friseur Wuppertal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Battal Cüneyt İhtişam should have stopped the shot. City Friseur Wuppertal's Battal Cüneyt İhtişam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Silişteanu in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Tuna Selim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Patriciu. Juventus PTM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuna Selim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 88th minute Calistrat Trifu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Cüneyt İhtişam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Brezeanu in the 92nd minute of play forced City Friseur Wuppertal's goalkeeper Battal Cüneyt İhtişam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juventus PTM fans cheered their team off the field, for while City Friseur Wuppertal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
