Spectators: 7816 (Terracing: 5864, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arí Custódio kicked off to start the match. Pedro Augusto Silva came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Haithabu FC's Brian Laudrup. But to his dismay, Brian Laudrup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dogelo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Cardozo in the 12th minute. Joost De Groot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Viana in the 15th minute of the match. Emiel Stercks hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Arí Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joost De Groot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Arí Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Van Cleijnenbruegel took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Augusto Silva. Pedro Augusto Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 24th play minutes Arí Custódio shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Joost De Groot and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Maicon Moura hit a great ball. Percy Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Percy Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brian Laudrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Silva made a huge save. In the 45thth minute of the game Arí Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haithabu FC's Joost De Groot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Brian Laudrup put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Augusto Silva. After some careless play in the Dogelo defense, Matthias Van Cleijnenbruegel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Silva. The Dogelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Augusto Silva should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Brian Laudrup. Dogelo's Pedro Augusto Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Laudrup in the 71st minute of play. Pedro Augusto Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Van Cleijnenbruegel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Brian Laudrup sped through Dogelo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Silva. Brian Laudrup scored 7-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Augusto Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Roni Dejonckheere. Ewout Vorster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Yan Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dogelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haithabu FC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haithabu FC had won after a very even match.
