After a defensive mix-up in Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s zone, Ramiro Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garth Hayes came out of the goal and Ramiro Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glenn Abbey kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Abraham Moyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Doriva Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Classe A Futebol Clube's Eugênio Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Kléber Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Hayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Váldson Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 21 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Mazza. In the 24th minute Váldson Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Hayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lisburn Distillery F.C. booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Brian Carter from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Doriva Simão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute, Patrick Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toby Dransfield got free with Doriva Simão in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Toby Dransfield had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Simão. Classe A Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toby Dransfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Váldson Mazza hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléber Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Váldson Mazza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Garth Hayes, passed just outside the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Classe A Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lisburn Distillery F.C..
