After taking down the ball on El retorno del Pincha's corner Ramiro Sadurni fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Felipo Ramirez quite easily take care of the ball. After 7 played minutes El retorno del Pincha got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Sadurni. If Cordarell Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Arnulfo Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El retorno del Pincha's Edelmiro Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarell Saura in the 24th minute of play. El retorno del Pincha's Valentin Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Sadurni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Felipo Ramirez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarell Saura in the 38th minute of play forced El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper Edelmiro Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Porfiro Sabina during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of SC Pfullendorf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Pfullendorf. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kepa Machado couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

SC Pfullendorf's Zoel Nobo was substituted for Porfiro Sabina. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Peruxu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cordarell Saura hit a great ball. Edelmiro Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Castellano in the 89th minute of play. Oscar Castellano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Edelmiro Peruxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felipo Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Sadurni in the 95th minute of play.
