Liviu Halipa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hondo santillana having to make a save. FCSB CUENCA's Hondo santillana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save FCSB CUENCA from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes FCSB CUENCA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ion Bianu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ion Bianu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FCSB CUENCA's Hondo santillana did a great save. In the 38th minute, Ugutz Jubera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, FCSB CUENCA's Ugutz Jubera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olimpiu Târlea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB CUENCA's zone, Codrin Dragalina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hondo santillana came out of the goal and Codrin Dragalina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hondo santillana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Uzuneanu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Vlad Uzuneanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A4p FC Gad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Codrin Dragalina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Halipa in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 67th minute Codrin Dragalina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hondo santillana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hondo santillana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Halipa in the 73rd minute of the match.
