After a defensive mix-up in RED BLUE STAR's zone, Cazimir Golescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Tender came out of the goal and Cazimir Golescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Tutor Militari's goalkeeper Teodor Pătrășcanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Şoimaru. Teodor Pătrășcanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Şoimaru in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, RED BLUE STAR's Fabian Şoimaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodor Pătrășcanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Narcis Voiculescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teodor Pătrășcanu, passed just outside the right post. When Tudor Apostu fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tutor Militari's protests and gave Tudor Apostu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tutor Militari's Tudor Apostu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Grigore Buzgar hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Cazimir Golescu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Tutor Militari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Golescu couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Tutor Militari's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Şoimaru came free, but Teodor Pătrășcanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Ciprian Zeciu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Tender. RED BLUE STAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Zeciu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 40 minutes, Rareș Abraham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tutor Militari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Abraham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Zeciu in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ciprian Zeciu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender. Damian Tender was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciprian Zeciu to make the kick off. Narcis Voiculescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodor Pătrășcanu. Tutor Militari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Damian Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Zeciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Valeriu Fânaru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Damian Tender skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. RED BLUE STAR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
