All Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muget the free kick. Leo Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Sabău in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Găină was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave All Boys the free kick. After a rather tough play, Muget's Pompiliu Găină got a free kick in the 16th minute. Felix Oneț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costel Tăbăcaru was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Melquiades Benino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melquiades Benino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Melquiades Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Petru Sabău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Eleder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by All Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horia Bota was slow to take the kick. During this time Muget's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Horia Bota almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but All Boys's Leo Eleder did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petru Sabău was the one to do the kick off. Leo Eleder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pompiliu Găină went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Aguirre during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to All Boys getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fernando Aguirre hit a great ball. All Boys's Luis Veto was substituted for Basilio Casomiro. Leo Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Găină, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to All Boys getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Melquiades Benino hit a great ball. All Boys's Florentino Suero was substituted for Vladimiro Idacio.
