After some careless play in the Sportivo Fernet Branca defense, Avram Bot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Buinton. The Sportivo Fernet Branca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Buinton should have stopped the shot. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Cantemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportivo Fernet Branca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Avram Bot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sportivo Fernet Branca's Baldomero Buinton. 3-3. 94 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Penciulescu came free, but Baldomero Buinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
