When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Merentiel to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vicente Berto threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Merentiel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute of the match, Titan Palermo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vicente Berto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vicente Berto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abuba Akotonon FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
