Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Aírton Capixaba made the kick off and thus started the match. Washington Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Paulo José Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Kléberson Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Litoral EC - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC La Masia the free kick. The supporters of FC La Masia booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Alves in the 11th minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo José Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC La Masia's Vinícius de Souza got control of the ball when Aírton Capixaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Aírton Capixaba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vinícius de Souza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Inácio Lara got a free kick in the 19th minute. Aírton Capixaba took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinícius de Souza. Vinícius de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vinícius de Souza came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ricardinho Vander. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Vinícius de Souza made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Aírton Capixaba sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Washington Trevisan made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Sílvio Luís Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luís Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aírton Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 52 minutes of play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Aírton Capixaba made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Aírton Capixaba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinícius de Souza was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Aírton Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sílvio Luís Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luís Dracena couldn't finish the play. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's Aírton Capixaba in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC La Masia's goalie prevented a goal. Aírton Capixaba took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinícius de Souza. Vinícius de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Vinícius de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Travassos in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Aírton Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Paulo José Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Trevisan in the 81st minute of play. Vinícius de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Vander's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Lara to maneuver through the defense. Vinícius de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Linares in the 88th minute of play. Litoral EC - CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
