An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Dante in the 3rd minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Laerte Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, João Vítor de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PIRATAS TFP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite™- FC Galácticos the free kick. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's João Vítor de Medeiros got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Rafinha Dante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastião Garcia came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRATAS TFP's Severino Dantas. But to his dismay, Severino Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Enrique Gerber hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Maciel took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte Brasil. Laerte Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dito Donatello hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Jonas Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Gerber to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match João Pedro Xavier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laerte Brasil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Edgard Cavalcante seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edgard Cavalcante the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elite™- FC Galácticos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edgard Cavalcante had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Elite™- FC Galácticos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PIRATAS TFP:s goal. The referee gave PIRATAS TFP a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dito Donatello, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elite™- FC Galácticos's Sebastião Garcia. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Maciel was the one to do the kick off. Sebastião Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Enrique Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Maranhense in the 64th minute of the match. Sebastião Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Goiano. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Enrique Gerber hit a great ball. PIRATAS TFP's Laerte Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save PIRATAS TFP from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Gerber to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jonas Abreu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Severino Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sebastião Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Dantas came free, but Sebastião Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PIRATAS TFP's Laerte Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save PIRATAS TFP from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Abreu during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. PIRATAS TFP's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
