Philip Tinge hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Olimpiu Oloieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbert Plescher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Oloieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Oloieru in the 24th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Elbert Plescher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Zbuchea hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. De Pelgrims's Elbert Plescher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Culiță in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Oloieru in the 32nd minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Elbert Plescher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elbert Plescher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Oloieru in the 35th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Alfred Mol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Pelgrims and the F.C. YKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgil Macrea charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Macrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virgil Macrea hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. De Pelgrims's Elbert Plescher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Culiță in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Oloieru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Lucrețiu Culiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbert Plescher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Culiță in the 52nd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Cazimir Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Oloieru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Elbert Plescher made a huge save. Elbert Plescher came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. YKE's Olimpiu Oloieru. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Oloieru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marin Zbuchea took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elbert Plescher. Elbert Plescher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Elbert Plescher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Zbuchea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elbert Plescher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Oloieru in the 92nd minute of play.
