River de Ramos Mejía's Bartolo Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Ghelmegean in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Vali Ghelmegean notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of River de Ramos Mejía's Bartolo Maju. Bartolo Maju was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bartolo Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Dan in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Oltean came free, but Bartolo Maju reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Ortle's late challenge caught a Academia Rio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Ortle helped the player get up and apologised. Academia Rio made a substitution. Iordache Cârju replaced Ioan Oltean. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for River de Ramos Mejía! Bartolo Maju had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Horia Berceanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Horia Berceanu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Maju. Bartolo Maju dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 24th match minute, River de Ramos Mejía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Clemencin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Horia Berceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Rio's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Berceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolo Maju didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodor Dan went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Bartolo Maju didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Academia Rio's Teodor Dan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Bartolo Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Ghelmegean in the 32nd minute of play. When Candido Clemencin fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River de Ramos Mejía's protests and gave Candido Clemencin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when River de Ramos Mejía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horia Berceanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bartolo Maju came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Rio's Teodor Dan. But to his dismay, Teodor Dan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Bartolo Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Ghelmegean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Vali Ghelmegean notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of River de Ramos Mejía's Bartolo Maju. Bartolo Maju was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximo Eate was the one to do the kick off. Bartolo Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Negulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With an all-out effort, Academia Rio's Bartolo Maju threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iulian Negulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teodor Dan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bartolo Maju didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Rio. Bartolo Maju made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Vali Ghelmegean sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Maju was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodor Dan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 65 minute of play. After 69 minutes, Teodor Dan made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. River de Ramos Mejía's Bartolo Maju tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartolo Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Dan in the 76th minute of the match. Iordache Cârju recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vali Ghelmegean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Bartolo Maju when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horia Berceanu during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horia Berceanu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bartolo Maju didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodor Dan went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Academia Rio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
