Vali Ghelmegean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carmelo Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Epure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Palben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Ioan Oltean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Marino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academia Rio were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Palben made a kick off. Codrin Perșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Carmelo Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Marino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Dan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A very good chance for a goal. Sergio Jordy charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Jordy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
