After some careless play in the HIT Gorica defense, Eriberto dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urh Lupša. The HIT Gorica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urh Lupša should have stopped the shot. HIT Gorica's Urh Lupša played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto dos Santos in the 17th minute of play. Urh Lupša showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Coutinho in the 25th minute of the match. Moisés das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urh Lupša having to interfere. Urh Lupša took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HIT Gorica's Urh Lupša played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Borges in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Vasilije Sedlak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jenipapo SC the free kick. Vasilije Sedlak hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Urh Lupša showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés das Neves in the 41st minute of the match. Tostão Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urh Lupša having to interfere. The HIT Gorica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jenipapo SC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Mavro Mihajlovič made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vasilije Sedlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Đevat Grbac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Urh Lupša got control of the ball when Moisés das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Zupanc hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Tostão Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 79 minutes into the game, Mavro Mihajlovič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rony Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Đevat Grbac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Moisés das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Jenipapo SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HIT Gorica.
