The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kevin Håkansson hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Vilgot Valström had to leave the field with a concussion. Bento Gameiro's late challenge caught a Doffes Damer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bento Gameiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when MEXACOMX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Gameiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Orvar Elg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doffes Damer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MEXACOMX the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Kihlman during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. Anton Hult took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes of play, MEXACOMX's David Barroso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Hult was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Granja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Hult having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play Doffes Damer's Orvar Elg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octávio Camacho was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as David Barroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Hult. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Anton Hult made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Máximo Viana sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, David Barroso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Hult. David Barroso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. David Barroso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Hult firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anton Hult made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Máximo Viana sent off a good shot on target. Kevin Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Moura having to interfere. After some careless play in the Doffes Damer defense, Máximo Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Hult. The Doffes Damer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Hult should have stopped the shot. Doffes Damer's Anton Hult played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octávio Camacho in the 78th minute of play. When David Barroso came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Barroso couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Anton Hult got control of the ball when Hélio Granja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anton Hult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Barroso in the 90th minute of play. Anton Hult took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octávio Camacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over MEXACOMX could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Doffes Damer throughout the match.
