Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evaristo Guimarães took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Bob Decheiver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseu Negri. New Loser FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bob Decheiver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee gave Mosk a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bob Decheiver, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri. 0-2. 13 minutes into the game, Carsten Zijden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Mosk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New Loser FC:s goal. In the 19th minute, New Loser FC's Olívio Coutinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Mart Mans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Eliseu Negri came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Mosk's Bob Decheiver. But to his dismay, Bob Decheiver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Válter Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Mosk's Bob Decheiver got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Decheiver in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hoogendorp in the 37th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Mosk's Bob Decheiver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Decheiver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Eelco van der Velden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Leão in the 69th minute of play forced Mosk's goalkeeper Mart Mans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Evaristo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Mans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mart Mans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Guimarães in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the New Loser FC defense, Eelco van der Velden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Negri. The New Loser FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Negri should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Mosk's Bob Decheiver dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-8. In the 81st minute Huib Thole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huib Thole. Huib Thole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Eliseu Negri made a huge save. Eliseu Negri was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Eelco van der Velden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eelco van der Velden really showed his touch with that goal: 2-9.
