In the 24th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Marlin FC's Eusebio Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Decheiver in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Higinio Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Mans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Heriberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huib Thole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Heriberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Hoogendorp in the 39th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Wilfredo Izel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marlin FC and the Mosk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Mosk got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Boon. 45 minutes into the game, Hans Veenhuis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Humberto Kinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mosk's Fabian Spannenburg was substituted for Bertus van Dongen. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Higinio Truylos got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mart Mans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Marlin FC's Eusebio Heriberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. Hans Veenhuis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Humberto Kinsen hit a great ball. Humberto Kinsen's late challenge caught a Mosk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Bob Decheiver came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mosk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Decheiver couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mosk booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Hans Veenhuis put in a rough tackle. Hans Veenhuis kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Mosk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
