Robin Oces hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vebjørn Dyb in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Ibar saved ...Pingue S.C.... from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Nerd Herd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Arnstein Øvereng had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Fidel Laores's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Robin Oces charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Oces the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Dan Høines managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Nerd Herd's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Høines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the The Nerd Herd defense, Xever Yanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnstein Øvereng. The The Nerd Herd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnstein Øvereng should have stopped the shot. After having played for 23 minutes, Dan Høines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Nerd Herd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Høines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nerd Herd's Arnstein Øvereng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save The Nerd Herd from getting a goal against them. When Vebjørn Dyb fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Nerd Herd's protests and gave Vebjørn Dyb a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Vebjørn Dyb. Arnstein Øvereng came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by ...Pingue S.C....'s Xever Yanes. But to his dismay, Xever Yanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 37th minute The Nerd Herd were awarded a corner. Eivind Engh went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ...Pingue S.C....'s goalie and right to Dagfinn Ringvold. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ...Pingue S.C....'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, ...Pingue S.C....'s Umbruso Santiago got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, The Nerd Herd's Dan Høines nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvik Nordskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnstein Øvereng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sarratea in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Alvaro Sarratea kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match The Nerd Herd got a corner. ...Pingue S.C....'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eivind Engh ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ludvik Nordskog got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dennis Ibar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Dan Høines managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Nerd Herd's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Høines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, ...Pingue S.C....'s Vicente Villaverde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnstein Øvereng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. During the 80th minute of the match Vebjørn Dyb completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vebjørn Dyb a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vebjørn Dyb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Gilmar Prados sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnstein Øvereng skillfully saved the ball. Dan Høines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the The Nerd Herd defense, Xever Yanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnstein Øvereng. The The Nerd Herd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnstein Øvereng should have stopped the shot. ...Pingue S.C.... were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Nerd Herd for a fine match.
