Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Fábio Furlan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Luiz Fábio Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Guará FC's Luiz Fábio Furlan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Celsinho de Queiroz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ramiro Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Luz in the 12th minute of play. Samuel Ribeiro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Netto came free, but Ramiro Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Luiz Fábio Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Furlan in the 27th minute of the match. Ramiro Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Luiz Fábio Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guará FC's Luís Fabiano Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Célio Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Mazinho Campidelis got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Claudinho Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Célio Mendonça skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aílton de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Célio Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton de Andrade in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Mattos to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Rafael Mota notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Guará FC's Célio Mendonça. Célio Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Célio Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aílton de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Rafael Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Mendonça having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Luiz Fábio Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Alexsandro Britto got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ramiro Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Aílton de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guará FC's Célio Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Squadra Demarchi's Ramiro Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Britto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Squadra Demarchi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guará FC the free kick. Alexsandro Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredinho Alvarenga, made in the 86th minute of the game. Geraldo Moreira made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luiz Fábio Furlan. Guará FC's Cristóvão Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Guará FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guará FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Squadra Demarchi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
