When Edson Berinduaga fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taltum FC's protests and gave Edson Berinduaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Berinduaga to maneuver through the defense. Taltum FC's Asensio Mendoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Solustiano in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Hermengildo Dalmai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asensio Mendoza. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asensio Mendoza should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Achtung Babies's Ubaldo Frisco got control of the ball when Ordóñez Cuesta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ordóñez Cuesta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Frisco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Braulio Solustiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achtung Babies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taltum FC the free kick. After 20 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Solustiano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Belo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Achtung Babies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Dalmai in the 39th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Asensio Mendoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Txeru hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Braulio Solustiano made the kick off in the second half. Asensio Mendoza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Dalmai in the 51st minute. The supporters of Achtung Babies booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ordóñez Cuesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 55 minutes on the clock, Jeremias Belo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jeremias Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Achtung Babies's Eriberto Florinio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asensio Mendoza. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. Asensio Mendoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Dalmai in the 65th minute of the match. Vito Areta hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Edson Berinduaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taltum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Asensio Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Dalmai in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Achtung Babies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Vito Areta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Dimo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes, Taltum FC's Juan-Alfredo Blanquel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ubaldo Frisco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taltum FC reached it. 92 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goalkeeper Asensio Mendoza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Solustiano. A collision led to Achtung Babies getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Braulio Solustiano hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
