Victor Steckens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sílvio Zonta made a huge save. When Timothy Voorhof came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Fox Hunting Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timothy Voorhof couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Felipe Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TAQUARI FC and the Fox Hunting Squad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fox Hunting Squad's Rens Waterloos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Robbin Panhuyse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Peres in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Valdir Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbin Panhuyse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbin Panhuyse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Victor Steckens took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sílvio Zonta to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Peres to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Victor Steckens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 32 minutes of play, TAQUARI FC's Adriano Soares made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robbin Panhuyse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robbin Panhuyse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sílvio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Steckens in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Peres got free with Robbin Panhuyse in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, one of Fox Hunting Squad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fox Hunting Squad. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iuri Simões got free with Robbin Panhuyse in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruninho Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robbin Panhuyse. That made the score 2-4 in the 68 minute of play. Edgard Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Augusto Ramos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Georges Leclerq managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters rose to their feet, but Georges Leclerq was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Van de Wal in the 77th minute of play. Victor Steckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Zonta having to interfere. When Bernard Van de Wal fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fox Hunting Squad's protests and gave Bernard Van de Wal a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Van de Wal. After 87 minutes of play Fox Hunting Squad's Rens Waterloos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Fox Hunting Squad's Rens Waterloos got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Peres got free with Robbin Panhuyse in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernard Van de Wal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Valdir Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TAQUARI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fox Hunting Squad the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Valdir Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Tjorven Van Achter. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TAQUARI FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
