Bobbi Mejnholt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrez De Jonghe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Strib Galacticos IF defense, Bryan Balthazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bjørn Toklev. The Strib Galacticos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bjørn Toklev should have stopped the shot. Bjørn Toklev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Steckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Bjørn Toklev came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Fox Hunting Squad's Victor Steckens. But to his dismay, Victor Steckens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart-Jan Allaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Bryan Balthazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fox Hunting Squad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strib Galacticos IF the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Bryan Balthazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanny Schols during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fox Hunting Squad's Stanny Schols got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ludwig Jærndal hit a great ball. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebbe Goossens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Schønfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andrez De Jonghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's Victor Steckens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bjørn Toklev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bobbi Mejnholt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bryan Balthazar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Strib Galacticos IF's Axel Schønfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Steckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Steckens got free with Bjørn Toklev in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 76 minutes on the clock, Marko Kværnø commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bryan Balthazar got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 92nd match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Balthazar to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Schønfeldt came free, but Andrez De Jonghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Axel Schønfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrez De Jonghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fox Hunting Squad were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Strib Galacticos IF's much stronger midfield.
