When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Åke Täman put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benedikt Pechar. Benedikt Pechar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Åkesson in the 14th minute of play. Benedikt Pechar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Åke Täman made a precise shot to the right of Benedikt Pechar. Lex Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Brothers of Mercy's Åke Täman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tobias Forssberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Benedikt Pechar made a huge save. Benedikt Pechar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikael Åkesson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's Wiktor Jespersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Krajíček in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Mikael Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedikt Pechar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Václav Prokeš was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Forssberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Václav Prokeš got free with Wiktor Jespersson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milan Křepelka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wiktor Jespersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Mikael Åkesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedikt Pechar was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Åke Täman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Darek Doležel fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lex Academy's protests and gave Darek Doležel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Darek Doležel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brothers of Mercy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
