Spectators: 8036 (Terracing: 6028, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bjorn Veltman kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Artemio Naike mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Scaloneta and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Naike to maneuver through the defense. If Roland Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Lamey during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nick Lamey hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Albano Bemabe made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Roland Boon sent off a good shot on target. La Scaloneta's Albano Bemabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save La Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Eusebio Richie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico van Kampen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rigoberto Cuarto hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The long shot by Gert Heitinga in the 18th minute really tested Albano Bemabe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Guillermo Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bela in the 25th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Nico van Kampen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Richie came free, but Nico van Kampen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, Roland Boon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Bemabe came out of the goal and Roland Boon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eusebio Richie hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Bjorn Veltman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Bela came free, but Nico van Kampen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Bjorn Veltman could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Albano Bemabe however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, The Underdogs's Albano Bemabe threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Boon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Bela made a kick off. In the 54th minute Roland Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Bemabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bjorn Veltman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjorn Veltman in the 64th minute of play. Albano Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Richie to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Bjorn Veltman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Bemabe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Underdogs's Nico van Kampen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save The Underdogs from getting a goal against them. Bjorn Veltman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Bjorn Veltman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Bjorn Veltman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjorn Veltman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Boon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Albano Bemabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Scaloneta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
