Horácio Pereira's late challenge caught a FC CSKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. Horácio Pereira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petar Kutinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atanas Dlúgnekov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute Alexi Payakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Petar Kutinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Pinheiro came free, but Atanas Dlúgnekov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Vítor Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atanas Dlúgnekov skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Serginho Donato got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Trancoso made a kick off. Valdo Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexi Payakov's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pantaley Koserkov in the 56th minute of play. Hristo Konsulov got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 62nd match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristo Konsulov to maneuver through the defense. SORRISO E. C.'s Vítor Sousa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Atanas Dlúgnekov but with some difficulty. In the 68thth minute of the game Alexi Payakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Júlio Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Júlio Eger came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the SORRISO E. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Eger couldn't finish the play. SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexi Payakov in the 76th minute of play. Eliseu Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atanas Dlúgnekov having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anzhelo Karamalkov during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anzhelo Karamalkov hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gancho Topencharov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valdo Catarinense. SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leopoldo Trancoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Atanas Dlúgnekov came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Trancoso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 88th minute. With a little luck, FC CSKA's Atanas Dlúgnekov got control of the ball when Leopoldo Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When SORRISO E. C.'s Eliseu Pinheiro in 92 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Atanas Dlúgnekov guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 94thth minute of the game Alexi Payakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
