Roneros F.C.'s Hernando Vilaprenyo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as The Valar's Damian Dăscălescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asensio Berzosa. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 21st minute, Walter Luzuriaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximenez Aller kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Horia Boerescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Valar's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Boerescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asensio Berzosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Hernando Vilaprenyo made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Ghionescu. The Valar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, The Valar's Asensio Berzosa threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horia Boerescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the game, Iosif Bordeianu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Valar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roneros F.C. the free kick. After 34 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Bordeianu. After a defensive mix-up in The Valar's zone, Hernando Vilaprenyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Ghionescu came out of the goal and Hernando Vilaprenyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisc Ghionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernando Vilaprenyo in the 38th minute of play. The Valar's Francisc Ghionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernando Vilaprenyo in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 52 played minutes, The Valar's Horia Boerescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Asensio Berzosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Valar reached it. During the 53rd minute of the match Iosif Bordeianu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Iosif Bordeianu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alberto Lombillo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Roneros F.C.'s Ximenez Aller shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Francisc Ghionescu but with some difficulty. Francisc Ghionescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernando Vilaprenyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute, Virgil Meleșcanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of The Valar booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Juarrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asensio Berzosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Meleșcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Valar had won after a very even match.
