Grêmio RK75's Bebeto Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Böcklund in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Rikard Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Nunes hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Angelo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio RK75's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martín Braithwaite in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Bergqvist saved DIF LEEDS BK from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Angelo Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Bergqvist. DIF LEEDS BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Boris Arvidsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Guerra in the 20th minute of play. Bebeto Paranaense made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hans Kellbom sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Paulo Nunes got a free kick in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Nunes in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Grêmio RK75's Martín Braithwaite nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Bergqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Guerra in the 31st minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, DIF LEEDS BK's Rikard Helander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Martín Braithwaite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Bergqvist. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Grêmio RK75's attentive Elói Pereira managed to snatch the ball when Erland Löfkvist made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Paulo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Bergqvist having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Ronny Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Guerra struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Aaron Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio RK75. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. Jan Böcklund hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martín Braithwaite to maneuver through the defense. Bebeto Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Arvidsson in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Guerra got free with Aaron Bergqvist in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grêmio RK75's attentive Serginho Pinheiro managed to snatch the ball when Erland Löfkvist made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. After having played for 97 minutes, Paulo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The DIF LEEDS BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grêmio RK75's performance. The match ended with a win for Grêmio RK75.
