In the 7th minute Angelo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Paranaense having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Angelo Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Santana. Mundial EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the Mundial EC defense, Adhemar Sabóia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Santana. The Mundial EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Santana should have stopped the shot. Angelo Guerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Geovânio Santana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 20th play minutes Angelo Guerra shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Geovânio Santana and just under the crossbar into goal. After 25 played minutes Mundial EC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Monteiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Toledo in the 27th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Bebeto Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Durval Bastos got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Angelo Guerra notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana. Geovânio Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Sabóia in the 33rd minute of play. Adhemar Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Geovânio Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Geovânio Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Grêmio RK75 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Adhemar Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Geovânio Santana. Mundial EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Angelo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 70th match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Guerra struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Geovânio Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio RK75. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Passos hit a great ball. Mundial EC's Geovânio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Guerra in the 74th minute of play. Bebeto Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When Gustavo Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundial EC's protests and gave Gustavo Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Mundial EC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Monteiro. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Mundial EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Grêmio RK75 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
