Spectators: 7972 (Terracing: 5980, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Derwin kicked off to start the match. Francisco Arens hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Barros during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 8 minutes, Ramiro Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olds School Pepo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jaime Rufo was substituted for Mercurio Pasos. Celso Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vicente Basay having to interfere. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jorge Vicente Basay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Urtzi in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Tancredo came free, but Jorge Vicente Basay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Vicente Basay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportes Santa Cruz's zone, Severo Gaitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Vicente Basay came out of the goal and Severo Gaitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Clemente Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alejandro Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Olds School Pepo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Cortez couldn't finish the play. Jorge Vicente Basay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Urtzi went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemencín Varas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Vicente Basay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Derwin went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ramiro Derwin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Clemencín Varas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemencín Varas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siluna Hevia kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jorge Vicente Basay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Olds School Pepo's Angelo Urtzi, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Olds School Pepo. Emanuel Tancredo scored 0-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Vicente Basay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonatan Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Vicente Basay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Derwin in the 95th minute.
