Albérico Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Vedeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Leal scored 2-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garcia Cerrabe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aragón Cercalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sabino Setúbal fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Braga's protests and gave Sabino Setúbal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Sabino Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
