None of the them looked very eager to play. 周桑雄 started the match with the kick off. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Fulvio Patricelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾然沙 in the 5th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 『挑战者』Wolf Totem! 20 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Carlucci came free, but 郝宁海 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Berardo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 郝宁海. 郝宁海 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 郝宁海 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Carlucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 叶飞梁 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Scarinci to maneuver through the defense. If 叶飞梁 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Frank Carlucci made the kick off in the second half. 郝宁海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Riccardi in the 52nd minute of the match. When 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's 莫杰战 in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, 莫杰战 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulvio Patricelli. S.S.C. NAPOLI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 莫杰战 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 66 minutes, Attilio Riccardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.S.C. NAPOLI and the 『挑战者』Wolf Totem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ermanno Scarinci kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fulvio Patricelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫杰战, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's 郝宁海 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save 『挑战者』Wolf Totem from getting a goal against them. Fulvio Patricelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫杰战, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to S.S.C. NAPOLI getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ermanno Scarinci hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Arrigo Berardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 莫杰战 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulvio Patricelli came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's 叶飞梁. But to his dismay, 叶飞梁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 89th minute, Anselmo Longo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』Wolf Totem's 莫杰战 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulvio Patricelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
