Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zakaria Pangestu started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Carvalho hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capivara FC's goalkeeper Hernani Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Kabul Sonjaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Tora Giro managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Capivara FC's Edvaldo Leal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hernani Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zakaria Pangestu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eko Sulistio in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes, Zakaria Pangestu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Capivara FC's Hernani Botelho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Nacho Comacho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Botelho was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Amauri Sampaio made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Tora Giro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amauri Sampaio made a kick off. Hernani Botelho came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Zakaria Pangestu. But to his dismay, Zakaria Pangestu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 57th minute Nacho Comacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fajri Munggaran managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fajri Munggaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Geraldo Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capivara FC's protests and gave Geraldo Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute of the match, Zakaria Pangestu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hernani Botelho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tora Giro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-3 became the score in the 68th minute when Amauri Sampaio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Capivara FC's Hernani Botelho got control of the ball when Zakaria Pangestu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guto Bastos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hernani Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Comacho in the 77th minute of the match. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
